I have four and they’re some of my faves. Gentle and good mothers. Their feathered feet are a challenge in winter, but otherwise easy to care for. Looks like you have Polish?

1 7 year old from the neighbors! I have a silkie, and I love her too! I really like all my chickens!

View attachment 1672735 Ok I admit it. I have a crush on my rooster, Sweet Lou the Roo. I took this today and when I looked at it I swear I heard the opening bars of “Bad to the Bone”. The three hens behind him even look like groupies!! First non- freezing day in WEEKS, so everyone was out strutting their stuff. Including me.

He is so handsome! LF Cochins are one of, if not my favorite breed of chicken. I think he needs to come visit my young pullets lol
