I posted pictures of our two new alpaca boys the other day. Here are the girls. The Black girl is Tahiti & she's 5 months pregnant to a spectacular grey. The mahogany girl is Morocco & she was bred to a beautiful black male yesterday. 11.5 month wait for cria!

In the minivan on the way home from the breeder:

Beautiful Alpacas!! My sister took her animals to the fair in the back of her van. Not a mini-van, but a 15 passenger. I think they removed some of the seats. Anyway, I can't remember if they were sheep or goats, (probably sheep), but they won everything at the fair.

Anyway, good luck, hope you get some beautiful crias.

LOL reminds me of the day I brought home a 2-week-old Holstein heifer in the back of my Dodge van. Almost caused a wreck on the interstate from people gawking at her through the back and side windows. She didn't help matters by standing there staring out the back window at all the cars and mooing! Fun times.

Hope you enjoy your Alpacas as much as I enjoyed my Moo!

How adorable! Look how nicely they road in back, too.

You're all making me feel more normal. The breeder was so shocked when I wanted to bring a couple of sheep home in the minivan. They only lived a few miles down the road and we had a tarp for the inside. I don't know why people make such a big deal out of it.
