I was suprised on Christmas morning with 6 chickens and an adorable hen house! Since then I just can't get enough chickens! I have three girls and a very dashing roo(I read that term in a chicken magazine)Buff Orpingtons. Their names are Marmalade, Peach, Shug and The General. I figured to the day when I would get my first egg and checked every day...nothing my first to lay was 2 weeks to the day overdue. Now I want more more more!
