Next year I hope to do some fermented canning as a way to preserve some of my veggies. and I also hope to freeze a portion as well

Oh interesting! My 29 year old son is the canner/preserver in the family. He's a maestro at it! I'm the sewer (quilter) and gardener. Tomorrow we will be butchering our 25 broilers. What kinds of things do you like to sew?

Nice! I would love to can but the fear of botulism stops me. I would love to grow my own meat, maybe someday. Bags and dresses mostly, I have also made baby dresses and a skirt top set for myself.
