New Anti-Spam System

Anyone can still post porn or something when they have over 2000 posts like me.

Hey! That's a new idea. Maybe you guys could program a bot or something that checks avatars and signatures or something?

Images are understandable. I just don't understand the avatar and signature deal.

I appreciate the efforts to keep the spammers out but, like others, I am a newer member with only a few posts and I'm a little frustrated that I can't post pictures and list my ducks for sale until I update my profile which I can't do until I have 10 posts...which is difficult for me to find the time to do when I really don't have the need to be on the forum except to list my ducks. I really love this site and have used it in years past for help with my chickens. It's well-run and clean which you can't say about a lot of other forums out there. Thanks, just had to provide my two cents worth of feedback. J

You could certainly go to the new member forum and introduce yourself. You could welcome some other new members. Evidently you have some experience. You could certainly go to the forums for geese or some of those other birds and look around; perhaps you could help someone -- not to mention the chicken forum. It really is not that difficult to make a few posts!​
