Cute pic.. has she told you were your sleeping tonight? might not be room for all 3 of ya.We do actually. We gave "it" a tiny little stuffed bear. But at the same time, it can't be lonely because my wife hasn't put him down for more then 10 mins since we got him, lol. I'm only saying "it" for now because we've not decided 100% on a name yet. Currently the top choice is Echo. We are leaning towards that name because he "echo's" our whistles. Here's 1 pic so far. I tried to get other poses, but was told "Go away, he's comfortable" LOL.
Time and patience should help with Lewie,Well we have decided the name shall remain Echo. Echo had a wonderful night with everyone and didn't spend any time in the brooder except for when it was bed time. Once put back in the brooder, he/she cuddled up to it's bear and immediately passed out and stayed quiet all night. That is until this morning when the lights were turned on. Oh my lord can this chic peep! We freshened up it's food and water and after breakfast we finally gave into it's cries for attention. Echo LOVES to cuddle! As long as it's on our shoulder or along side one of us, it's happy as a clam and beyond content. Lewie, our 2 year old Black Runner on the other hand is extremely jealous. Being that he's been our only duck for nearly 2 years now, he now resorts to tugging and pulling at our pants legs for attention. He isn't fond of the chic at allInstead of just roaming the house and playing as he normally does, he now acts like he has to be the center of attention and will charge at us with his head down when we get up to walk somewhere. I think today I'll be working on spending some 1 on 1 time with Lewie and see if maybe I can put his mind to ease. Hope this won't be too hard on him.
