Yeah it looks like he has yellow on his face. That is a really really pretty India Blue Pied you have there! Are you going to get him a peahen? Just like others are saying I would worm him too just incase. I am sure he will be pretty once he gets his train in and I hope you can get him into a bigger cage soon. Some peafowl pick their feathers if they don't have enough space, but for now he should be fine.

We did get a peahen but she is 7 mths old. We have them in separate but nextdoor to eachother so they can get to know one another. I am building a large pen for them, and thought about putting in a couple of my 8 mth Wyandottes. My chicken have been vax w/ ILT. Is there anything to do with the peafowl vax wise, or does it sound like a bad idea. I have seen other people do it and they each seem to do their own thing. I figure since it will be new territory for both of them it might be ok. The peahen is pretty too. She is an IB. I will post a pic of her when I get home, hopefully...busy, busy, busy...
