I dont know about ducks but chicks can go about three days without food and water. So you have time get him a box he cant jump out of and a towel and a heat lamp You can get the food and water set up in the next few hours. Its eleven PM here. Hes probably pretty tired after all that work.

Congrats Congrats! Just find him a warm safe place to dry off. I don't do food or water for 24 hrs. He will rest up and fluff up. Then time for another photo shoot
