New auto water system

We just added a new system to the run and the chicks seem to staying away from it ( other than to hop on top). Will they get it eventually or do we need to help them learn?

you might have to show them. I know I had to keep messing with the nipple waterer when I first put it in but it sure didn't take long for them to get the hang of it. lol

I did show them a few times yesterday. For now I have the old water container sitting right next to it because I'm afraid they didn't drink enough yesterday. Am I being to much of a mother hen? Should I pull the old one out?
