I got them on Thursday. I had to bring them in the house due to falling temps. My redbone won't leave the door. The boxer finally gave up. There are 12 chicks in all.

I have a baby gate across the room the brooders are in to keep the dog out. (the cat boxes are in the same room, so I can't just close the door)She likes to jump up and put her feet on the shelf to look into the brooders. Unfortunately, she weighs about 75lbs and shakes them up! She can jump over the gste, so I raised it a few inches off the floor and she will crawl under it!
