Just curious...were both parents solid black, or did they have color??

We have 2 females that are black with white feet, a pure black male and a pure white male.

The white male...Moo has been the daddy on our litters so far. we actually ended up with a whole array of colors. spotted, stripped, solid white, solid black, and everything inbetween.

Love the babies.

The male is solid black.
The female is black with white legs in front, and a little white on back legs.

She was bred to a gray boar before and had piglets that were solid black, gray with white legs, black with white legs, black with white legs and white stripe on face.

I would like to find a female who is spotted, but I haven't seen any around here.

OMGosh....how cute are they?!? I'd love to have one.

:aww LOVE them, how much and when will they be old enough to sale? We have been doing research on different types to see which ones need the most care etc, since we both have full time jobs and can't be home every minute. The pot belly was the chose. They are social like chickens from what i have read, they are not mean to each other either.

Ours do all get along fine 99.9% of the time. But that .1% can get a little hair raising.
Don't get me wrong. I love my pigs to death. They are my 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th kids....( I do think hubby is a pig sometimes..ahahah)...But the 2 males can have there moments. It's nothing to the point of hurting each other, more noise than physical. And it's usually after one has been out wandering around with me and it's time to bring them back in....

I think PBP's are wonderful and don't know how I went on with out mine. So glad I have them...
