New babies... what can they eat?

Im hatching some chicks for someone in my incubator. One hatched today and the others are still in shell...i do not intend on keeping them so i do not have any chick feed. I only have grown chicken feed. What can i feed them until the person comes to pick them up?

When is the person coming? After they’ve all hatched?
After absorbing the yolk, chicks have all they need for 3 days.
This is why hatcheries are able to send newly hatched chicks in the mail.
You may want to provide some water, just in case but they will need chick starter feed after 3 days.

When are they coming to pick them up? You don't have to feed chicks right away. They should be full from their yolk sac the first 24-48 hours. Otherwise give them some scrambled egg.

Tbh i think after they all hatched. Maybe i can buy a little starter from someone local just in case

If you can’t, the scrambled egg Pugsabi mentioned will work temporarily too.
