I currently have 4 week old chicks and there is a possibility that I will acquire a couple of hatchlings later this week- what is the best/ proper protocol to introduce the 'babies' to the existing flock?

Thanks!

Do you have week old babies (four of them) or some 4 week old babies? :) Introducing week old babies to day/hour old babies is easier than to 4 week old babies :)
they are four weeks old my apologies… The other I wouldn't be worried about it all. I'm just a first timer, and I don't want bullies. Thank you for any advice you can give

It's mostly just to keep an eye on them to make sure the younger ones don't eat the feet of the older (they think they're worms sometimes, yum yum!!) which can make the older ones scared or aggressive to the younger. Make sure the older ones also don't peck at feet and that they dont eat all the food or dont let the younger ones eat. With baby chicks you kinda just gotta play it by ear and adapt to what your own birds are doing :)
