New babies!

We have just aquired 10 hen and one rooster by a friend of mine. Moved them here Saturday and today I have been blessed with 5 eggs.
My question is? Can u give ur chickens corn cobs that have the corn scrapped off the co and give to them? I have just done it so I hope I did right if I did not somebody please tell me that is wrong! I live way out in the country and can remember growing up that my daddy di and it didn't hurt them! Please advise!!!!!!!

The corn cobs are absolutely fine! We give our chickens our leftover cobs all the time, and they LOVE picking through them. They'll love you for it.
