So so sorry you had to go through all that. I hope you can enjoy the chicks you have now, and can get everything handled with the hatchery. Is there a different town that you can pick them up from the post office at? Just asking because we have the main post office in the larger town near us hold them and not deliver them to our local post office to minimize handling. Good luck in the future, my thoughts are with you. Poor little things.
