I lock down today and I am a nervous wreck. I candled the eggs one last time and couldn't tell what I was looking at in the dark brown eggs. I didn't see any movement but I kept them in the bator. My 5 little seabright eggs showed movement in 4 and I thought the 5th one looked good. This morning I woke to find an egg with a couple tiny wet brown spots on the upper shell. I put it in a baggie and removed it. Thankfully, it didn't explode. It was one of the eggs I had marked as "no movement" on day 14. I will separate the other two suspicious eggs from the others at lock down in case something bad happens. Hoping to get at least a couple chicks - fingers crossed.
I have one egg that the chick busted the yolk, it looks like it turned after it pipped and the yolk leaked out of the pip. I so far have a 50% hatch which is amazing considering they were all shipped eggs! I'm hoping the two others that pipped besides the leaky yolk hatch too, that would be great!
