Hi everyone!
We are from Half Moon Bay, California and totally new to raising chickens.
We are just in the planning stages now that we have finally moved-in to a home with a yard where we have total control and can design it however we like. We can't wait to get started, but figured we should do a substantial amount of research before pulling the trigger, building that coop and bringing home our new chicks from the pet and feed store down the road.

Thank you in advance for all of your help and valuable information! We are stoked to be a part of this community.

Cheers,
Coastsidecoop

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan :D

Such a sensible idea to plan well, you can avoid a lot of problems that way

Congratulations on your new home, and welcome to BYC.
