Just had a little bit of dinner and now kicked back. This is how she is most all day. Im worried about her being able to walk now.

i would give her some therapy...like put her in a small glass so she has to stand for a bit of a time so she gets used to the pressure on her legs...just a thought....i did this method to a bird that was to fat to stand at first...for like an hour here and there...and then she just started to walk all by herself...just make sure its not to close to the heat source.

She is way more active and using my hand to stand up. She gets a little quick but I am putting her through chicky physical therapy. She's doing so much better

I've been following this little saga. You are my hero! So is this tiny chick. What a little fighter!
My husband said that once this is all over with this will end up being my pet following me around everywhere. I am just amazed at how far she has come even though it's not very far. I just hope my experience and documentation will help someone else out in the future. This is my miracle chick. And I appreciate the kind words. It made me smile. I am a animal lover and have tons and each one means the world to me. Thanks

Good morning all. She is doing ok today and trying to stand. She needs support though. My sleep schedule is so off whack so I am feeding her every few hrs. I'm scared she won't walk and don't know how long it will be before she starts to eat on her own. If I have a disabled chick I won't give up on her.

I think it is great improvement! A little support is ok if it is mostly her own inertia then she will get stronger. Great job.
