Hey everyone,
I currently have 12 chickens, legbars, marans, golden comets, etc., but I’m getting some 5-6 week old chicks in 3ish weeks and they are all new breeds that I don’t have any experience with, so I was wondering if y’all could help me with the breeds temperament, egg laying, when they can go outside, etc. Basically any info on these breeds.
The breeds I’m getting are 2 black langshans, 1 white leghorn, and one tetra tint (which I’ve never even heard of before.) Thanks in advance.

P.S. They’re all pullets, I hope

How should I introduce my 5-6 week old chicks to my chicks that will be 12 weeks at that time ? I’m scared to introduce them because I just had a pecking issue with some of my other chicks and big chickens. Just trying to plan ahead.

I kept my younger chicks next to the older girls, but with a divider. I did this for a few weeks, and there was just the slightest pecking order squabbling... the closer they are in size, the better.

I kept three new pullets of the same approximate age behind a see-through divider for five days. Then the next night in the dark I put them in the roost with the six original pullets. A little squabbling but no big problems.
