What form of shipping did they use for the LG?
I think you can just about send an envelope UPS for 8 dollars..lol
Actually I think its more then that.
It would be really nice if Brinsea would offer multiple forms of shipping,I mentioned that to her,many people would be fine with USPS ground for the savings.
She agreed,it seems they use just UPS at this time,which is just way more expensive,but faster and I think much easier for tracking.

I dont remmber exactly what it was but I got a LG bator and a thermomater hyd combo and teh shipping was just under 8.00 , I got it from ups about 8 days after I orderd it and it was ground shipping is all I know.

I just went on UPS.com and checked costs. Holy chickenpoo.
UPS has gone crazy. $32 is right.


Now, if you are a business and have a business account, like
Brinsea must, then they get a good discount. They are making
some money on shipping BUT if I wanted to ship a box to hold the
bator from CT to WA it would cost $29.00.


The P.O. or Fedex is cheaper.

I have been there, done that with the same company!! UGH!! They quote me the wrong price, I pay for it right there on the phone and they send me a bill for the other HALF, yes, they quoted me for literally half the price and then want the other half. I told them that was stupid, I wouldn't have ordered it if I knew it was that much, which was why I called and asked the price in the first place, not just mailed it in!! Didn't matter, they didn't care. Didn't matter that I could prove it, they had it all on their tapes, nope, too bad for me.
