this is our only light colored baby hatching do far.. is the blood I'm seeing normal??? I don't know if I'm just noticing it because the chick is a lighter color or something is wrong.

Yeah, it looks ok.....there's often a little blood and other gunk.
Don't be 'helping' tho....let them be.

came home from work and baby was out like this. I don't know what happened or why there's bleeding by the wing. I tried to lightly clean with a wet q tip and quickly decided to putit back with mamma....
