New Budgies

Hello! I’m new to this site and a new budgie owner. I have fell in love with these little guys. Was wondering if anyone with experience knows how young they may be by looking at them, I suspect from what I read about 4 months maybe? And is it too soon to tell their sex? I’ve been trying to match their cere colors with the charts but it’s hard to tell. Thank you for any info you can share.

The blue looks like a boy, blue area above the beak, if it is pink it is a girl.

I did read about the stripes, I got the blue one to eat some apple that I was holding, I was excited lol

I’m fairly certain the blue one is a boy and they are around 3-4months old. I would wait and watch the green one.....if the cere stays a light pink to white then it’s a girl, if it deepens in color to more purple/blue then you have another boy.

The blue one is definitely young bird. The green one may be a little older but not by much. I have a blue and a green too, Jet and Jewel. They are a few years old. You can see the difference in where the stripes start on the heads compared to your birds.
