New Budgies

:welcome I’m fairly certain the blue one is a boy and they are around 3-4months old. I would wait and watch the green one.....if the cere stays a light pink to white then it’s a girl, if it deepens in color to more purple/blue then you have another boy.
Thank you very much!! Funny thing is the blue one is Mindy and the green Mork lol

my first 2 both ended up being males. Their names are Boogie and Woogie. My female that I found a few months later is Bella. Bella has hatched 13 babies so far. 5 are the pepper babies, 5 are alcohol babies. the 3 new chicks + other eggs in this clutch are being placed for hand raising by a local bird person. you can find mor information on my budgies in this thread

That’s awesome! I want my birds to love me so bad lol I’ve been reading a lot and trying to learn. They are still kinda scared of me maybe warming up a tiny bit. Any advice?

it takes time and patience. treats sometimes help too. I don’t handle mine as they are in an outdoor aviary

So cute! I also suspect the blue one is a boy, and the green is a girl.

Finger taming is easier if you find something they like to eat, like millet or lettuce. Hold it in your hand so they need to get on your finger to eat. When they get close, gently push against them and up, and they will step up without even realizing they're on your hand.

Mine loved corn, lettuce, chicken (!), peas, mashed potatoes, and pretty much anything else I ate. We used to invite them to sit on the rim of the plates and eat along with us. Which they all did!
