Changed plans again. Decided not to use the plastic poultry netting and go with 6' tall vinyl coated poultry netting (Black vinyl chicken wire) for the fewest seams and cuts. Drove to southern Wisconsin for the wire for the pens and the bottom of male cages. I needed wire made in Massachusetts, sold in Wisconsin, and to be used in Iowa. Freight is high enough that when I was getting 2 rolls it became cheaper (and faster) to drive than to have it shipped.
This wire does not have any sharp edges or corners to catch feathers on. Love it.
Have made a few mismeasurements and decided not to fix them because it won't change a thing structurally. Lots of progress made much left to do. More pictures soon.
