If I can make a suggestion? My sisters and I kept bunnies almost all of our childhood and had multiple cages spread around the backyard for them (my sister bred for a long time so we had lots of bunnies). The one thing I remember my parents telling us whenever we were building a new cage, was the necessity of having a "nest" area for them. Even if you aren't breeding, I think bunnies like to have a nice, dark place they can go for privacy, and as nice as your cage is, it doesn't look like there is such an area for them? I wonder if Stella's issues would be resolved by giving her a little place to build a nest to sleep in and have some privacy? Our nests were always made of wood and we gave them nesting material, but these days there are so many options available. If she is small enough she might even be able to fit into one of those large igloo type things they make for ferrets, but perhaps drape a towel over it to make it nice and dark inside....

Stella struggles with her litterbox skills.....I gave her a little bed to sit in and she used it as a litterbox

I did buy some cardboard boxes, assuming I would use them to make her a little "hidey-hole". She is a very neurotic bunny.

There's no denying how cute bunnies are. I love the photos.
I didn't read the entire thread, so forgive me if I'm redundant. I don't eat baby carrots myself, much less feed them to an animal, once I read about the processing. I'm not an extreme food nut, but too much chemistry is not good.

I'm editing because I found that there are natural baby carrots ... harvested small ... or a small type ... forgive my ignorance.

The manufactured baby carrots are what I was referring to. They predominate the carrot shelves of most supermarkets. People buy them like crazy because of the convenience. They're soaked in chlorine to delay white blushing, and some folks consider them unfit to eat.

All you rural folks are probably rolling your eyes ... you know all this. :^)
