New BYC from Arizona

I live in Phoenix AZ(yes-it gets super hot here) and I have been raising chickens for about 5 years. I currently have 6 hens, 1 rooster and 6 more arriving in a couple of weeks. I love having backyard chickens even though their care gets pretty tough in the summer months.

We only get your heat here in Wisconsin for a couple of weeks. This year, more like a month, plus our humidity is often 70-80%. I don't envy you! There are lots of tricks and tips to keep chickens cool, and you're probably able to write a book on it.
