Good question, but I like the fact the search is more accessible this way.

I just go back to the first post in that preview thread...lol

We'll be doing some work to improve the search bar / button, but for now, I'm on desktop mode, but if you do a search like the following, it takes you to the "new" search:

We still need to adjust this for mobile.

Using a mac desktop and safari, there's no "search" icon - simply a box with three lines. Pull that down and "search" is the only available option, and it goes to the "old" search It's not beyond the realms of possibility that I'm being a bit thick, I realise

That's due to your screensize / resolution and is a similar issue to what happens on mobile. It's on our "to fix" list.

I searched something recently and it worked for me, but I am new, so I may be searching the same old way and just don't realize it. But hey, it worked. LOL
