Using a mac desktop and safari, there's no "search" icon - simply a box with three lines. Pull that down and "search" is the only available option, and it goes to the "old" searchWe'll be doing some work to improve the search bar / button, but for now, I'm on desktop mode, but if you do a search like the following, it takes you to the "new" search:
