new camera... what do i do!?

i got a new canon rebel G eos film camera. I dont even know how to turn it on. LOL what do i do? anyone have one?

you might need new batteries for it

You can by them cheap on eBay.

The Canon website should have the owners manual for it

When you said you could not get it off, do you mean the LCD window on top still had info in it? Try putting the dial on the red "L" (for locked)

It probably takes a lithium ion battery that you can find at any camera shop or electronics store. Online might be cheaper, though. The manual should help, even if it isn't for the exact model. Are you taking a photography class?
