The girls like it. Enjoy.

Security was a big concern, so we went down 30" with the hardware cloth all the way around as well as layering the cloth scraps while backfilling. The nest boxes slide out and the floor is covered with truck bed liner. This week a solar powered door, light and motion detect light will complete the project.

...love the poo colored floor paint. (kinda like having dirt colored carpet when you have kids)

Would suggest you run gutter along the run side of the coop roof to prevent a waterfall onto the bird's as the leave the coop and splash into the coop thru the entrance.

What's your plan for winter snow load on the roof wire? Maybe some corrogated metal laid over and fastened to the rails (a overhang would help keep the run drier in the winter and the rain

So long as the snow flakes aren't 2' in diameter, I think we'll be fine. The chicken door threshold is canted 20 degrees out, so the water goes out.

I opened this thread and the first thing out of my mouth was "Wow, thats a pretty coop".
