These chickens have the prettiest colored legs. Possible EE? Also got a black chicken with a crest like a legbar who lays pretty light green eggs!

Maybe olive eggers, but otherwise they're probably just crossbreds. Very pretty.
I was so hoping for an olive egger! Are there any signs they're Oliver eggers before they lay? I was looking at the chick in the middle it has legs that look really dark green. I wish I could share a pic of my new layer that laid that pretty tinted egg. She was a free range chicken and when I got her home she got away now she lives in a tree in my backyard lol that's where she laid and sleeps so I left her a feeder there I'm hoping she stays in the yard. She can fly so high compared to other chickens I've seen :lau

Do any of y'all have a rainbow of eggs? I'd love to see pics :love I have some chickens on my wish list, but decided to spread out getting them so I have something to look forward to! I already have the first on my list Mille fleur d'uccle down to 1 pair now do to dog and opossum attacks:he:barnie. Recently ordered a bantam and crested assortment. Got lucky with a silver spitz in crested and porcelain d'uccle in the bantams ! Along with some other pretties that weren't on my wish list. Welsummer, cream legbar (but I'm happy with my mix ones I was gifted), black copper maran, swedish flower hen, and an olive egger! I had a light Brahma that laid speckled eggs for me (dogs:mad:). I just want of day to collect a rainbow basket !:thumbsup

You won't really know until they lay, unless you can get information from the breeder on what the parents are.

Flyers can be tough to deal with, especially when they've just arrived at a new home and take off. Having other chickens around and food and water available will help. Best just to leave her be for now and not try to catch her, which could send her off for good. If you have a coop or covered run, you could try luring her there with the food and then trap her inside, but wait until she's gone inside a few times first. Good luck.
