Hello Lovely Forum Members!

I have been silently poking around your forum for some time, gathering all of the information that I will need prior to bringing home my new babies. Well the time finally felt right and I now have 2 new members of the family :) Both are Blue Orpingtons and are supposedly females. They have been settling well the past few days and I believe that they are a week old (purchased from the local feeder store and of course they weren't sure of the exact age). While I am a new Chick Mamma I am not new to chickens (or guinea fowl, peacocks, ducks, and turkeys). I grew up on a small chicken farm and have been around chickens, and other animals, all of my life. My fondest memories are of me and my pet chickens playing around the farm and getting into all kinds of adventures! Fast forward some years and here I am now, starting my own adult memories and getting back into raising chickens. Names to come for my two new chicks but they already have two different personalities and I cant wait to watch them grow. I look forward to learning more from all of you knowledgeable people, I am sure I will have some questions as I continue this journey!
