My 2nd official post after lurking for a long long time.
Ive lived here for 30 yrs and over that time have lost a chicken here an there.
maybe one every 3 yrs or so. Not to much considering the predators that are
around and we free range. so..............
I guess my luck ran out and earlier in the year coyotes came in and wiped out
my entire flock in one night.
the birds go in to a horse stall for the night,
the lights are on and radio playing, the buggers came right in.
I figure the coyotes had puppies and just took them all.
anyway, I just got replacements, here are a few pics I took the day they
arrived. I got some light brahma s, buff silkies and gold laced cochins.
