New chick problem

Hi, 1 of my chicks that hatched Friday has a clump of about 12 or so little seed like things about half a mm under its skin behind its neck, has anybody any idea what these are.

They look like some sort of parasite to me and shouldn't be there!!

I know others may be able to tell you exactly what this is, but I'd begin with a soft dusting of Sevin or some other louse powder to get this under control. Dust on the 'eggs', be careful of your chick's breathing.

They're under the skin?

They are under the skin, but today the area is a big blister about 10mm in dia. like you get with a bad burn.
