Hello from Colorado!! Thank you for including me to the group! I look forward to gaining knowledge and inspiration from other bird brained people like myself!

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! You have certainly come to the right place for all the learning and chicken fun. Have you stopped by the learning centre? Lots of super articles on all things poultry. Here is the link > https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center
Do you have chickens at the moment?

Be sure to ask any questions that you may have, everyone here to help and very friendly.
Enjoy BYC :frow

Check out the learning center; it has tons of information: https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/
if that doesn't answer a question, feel free to ask one of us. Do you already have chickens, or are you planning on getting some?

Thank you!!
I am brand new to chicken ownership this year. My daughter brought me home 4 Wyandottes chicks that I wasn't expecting or ready for. Soooooo, fast forward 2 months and I have researched like crazy. Had made a 12 bird coop and I'm currently raising 9 hens and 1 oppsie roo! Unexpectingly loving every minute of it!

Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

I also live in Colorado!

Sounds like you have a lovely flock. I have buff orpingtons, an easter egger and a speckled sussex. I've always wanted wyandottes.
