I hatched a Silver Lace Wyandotte last season. The chick was a sole, and lonely chick, so I put it in with the Quail Chicks. It was raised with the quail, up until the time it was too tall for the 8"high quail colony cages.
She now resides with the mini-lop rabbit, in the rabbit hutch. I don't have the heart to tell the bird its a chicken. The rabbit loves the company, and they hangout together. The rabbit has raised many other chickens over the last two years. The rabbit is a lot friendlier to me, when she has a chicken for a companion. The chickens have a calming effect on the rabbit.
