Hello everyone, I've been lurking around for several months now. My hubby bought me an incuview incubator for Christmas and I have black copper marans eggs on the way. Hopefully they get here just in time for the Valentine's day hatch-a-long. This is my first time hatching and I have read that black copper marans eggs are difficult to hatch, so I'm expecting a stressful, exciting, fun three weeks.

Welcome to the addiction! Also, beware, chickens are a gateway drug - before you know it you'll be looking to score some goats, a pig, etc ;-)

Welcome to BYC!

I'm not sure if you've seen it, but there is an entire thread on here regarding the IncuView Incubator: Incuview Incubator You may want to look at it in case there are any suggestions/tips for using it.

I hope the eggs get to you soon! Good luck with the future incubation.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. A lot of us were lurkers before joining.) What a nice Christmas present! Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your hatch.
