New chicken keeper

HI, My name is Morag, the hubby and I got 4 chickens 18 months ago and have progressed to a motly crew of 22, we have 2 barred rock (great mums) 1 shaver (getting past laying) 1 sussex (the Aunty) 2 Ophingtons, two Leaghorns, 2 Aracana, and 5 Wyandots, the rest are very young off spring. I have been looking at your site regular for information and love it. We are in New Zealand, so the seasons may be at oposites.
