(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I got my first batch in July 2025
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I currently have 12 hens and 3 Roosters. One of my hens is sitting on 6 eggs.
(3) What breeds do you have? I have bantams and 2 frizzles
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? It is very calming and rewarding
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Plants, finger knitting, computers
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am retired. I have 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. I have been married to Eddie for 33 years. I am an accountant by trade, I have work in IT and am a CNA.
