(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Not new to chickens. My family has had chickens on and off most of my life. However, this is my first very own flock!

(3) What breeds do you have?
Pretty heavy mix of layers. Wyandotte, rhode island red, bard rock, americauna, buff orpington & a few that are yet to be determined.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Seeing them grow up & develop personalities!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Horseback riding, kayaking, hunting, camping, outdoorsy stuff & cooking!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I live with my husband & son in the state of Iowa, USA. We have 2 dogs, a couple cats & of course the birds! Will be adding a horse to the mix this year.

Google search for a chicken forum- this was the first to pop up!
