Hi, another new member here! My daughter has begged for chickens for a few years now, and after a pretty traumatic move we finally found ourselves in a position to start up at least a small little chicken family. So here are our new babies! We purchased them all as pullets from Tractor Supply, although I have heard there is always a chance we could end up with a boy (really hope not though!).

Can't wait to soak up knowledge and get to know more chicken people!




They're 4 days old here if the age we were given at purchase was correct, and they're now 16 days old and looking like completely different birds!

It is!! We had to seriously upgrade their little enclosure when we saw how quickly they were growing. The little buggers were flying out every time I took the lid off to clean their water or food. I am hoping they are good now until it's time to move to the yard/coop, but we are learning as we go.
 
I totally agree the 4th and 6th pic's are SO SO cute!
