New chicken mom

Hi! About a week and a half ago a chihuahua attacked a RIR in my front yard. I've never seen either of them before. I was able to get her to the vet. They glued her toe and gave her an antibiotic shot. She had pretty bad puncture wounds on her back and a laceration to her ankle. I had her in the backyard at first but was worried about flies in her wounds so she's recovering inside now. She still doesn't want to use her left foot much, but it's improving! I have 2 dogs, 6 cats, and a day care/preschool so I keep busy! I've never had a chicken before so this is all new to me. I'm happy to have found this site for information and help!
