New chicken momma

Hi I’m Vicki, I’m from South Carolina I have 9 adult chickens and 3 new bitties so far. In the process of incubating quail (fingers crossed) maybe soon have some of them to add to the flock.
We have banoms & silkies (male annd female )and just regular hens and a rooster too.
Welcome, I'm also a new chicken mom from KY. I have gotten so much great advice here thats been so unbelievably helpful. You're definitely in the right place. Are silkies so much fun!? I've got 3 two hen and a rooster. I also have 6 other hens and a rooster different breeds. And two ducks a drake and hen. So I've had many questions and everyone has been answered here either by posting a question or reading one of the many articles. Anyway, welcome!

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow

Best wishes with your Quail hatch! Keep in mind Quail should not be mixed with chickens, chickens carry diseases (none of which you can tell they carry) that can kill Quail. Quail need a very high protein diet and a different environment all together.
