New Chicken momma

Hello! I am a new chicken momma to 8 babies as of yesterday. One is still in the incubator and hasnt pipped. Humidity and temp have been good. I did candle it this morning day 22 and there is movement. How long should I wait? Do you think it will hatch?

I'll let somebody experience an artificial hatching offer you advice. I only hatch under broody hens. Good luck.

You may consider assisting at that point or allowing more time

Welcome to BYC! I would give it more time. As long as its moving, there is hope. I wouldn't open the incubator for a couple of days. If you have to assist there are some great articles on BYC.

I definitely would give it more time. Keep the humidity up to about 70%.

If by Day 23 it's not pipped or hatched, then I'd break in.
