Hi, totally new to the chicken thing. Been around them all my life, never owned my own. I have two that were given to me. Was told one (1st photo) is female and one is male. Someone on another forum told me the one that looks to be an easter egger is actually a rooster. Thanks for any help!

Welcome to BYC! Those two are definitely roos, but I'm not sure about the breed...

Two roosters, the saddle feathers are good and grown out and they've got that beautiful coloring. :loveRoosters are the flashiest in the chicken world though. Sorry that you ended up with 2 roos if you were hoping for one of each to have a mini breeding startup for a flock.
