New Chicken Owner Here...

Thank you, everyone! I appreciate you're help! I'm sure I will have many more questions. I adopted 3 chickens from a poultry farm about 2-3 months ago. They're golden comets. Two were already laying and the other was the one that just started laying. The 4th was given to me about 2 months ago. She's a Australorp. She started laying about a month ago but she started laying normally. I love them all!

Help! My chicken just laid her 1st egg and it has a soft shell. A few days prior to this, she's laid a yolk. Is this normal. Thanks!

Your hen needs oyster shells to harden the shells.
