New chicken owner

Hello my name is Jackie. We just got our 6 baby chickens on March 29th they were a week old. We have all hens. My husband and I have 5 kids. We live in Columbus, Ohio. We have a few breeds of chickens we have a Welsummer (Fritata), 2 Golden comets ( deviled and Benedict), Black sex-link (sunny), Columbian rock cross (Nugget) and a Red cross (rotten). As you can see my children named them...lol. We are super excited about our new additions, and so far so good. We're in the familiarity process, which I believe is going well so far. Thank you for the acceptance we have been using your site for most of our informational purposes.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.
