Hey y'all! I'm Michele and my husband has recently decided he wants to be a farmer (of sorts). We started out with eight chickens, but that increased to eleven rather quickly, then thirteen, and now we are holding steady at twenty (I've been warned about chicken math). Two of the twenty were actually birthday presents for me from my children (goofy kids). I'm still trying to find out some breeds (already posted), but we know we have four white leghorns (baby Kate and the triplets - Harper, Jack, and Clucky), three brown leghorns (Beaker the hen and Chicky Graham and Sparky the males), three silkies (Axl, Sue Sue, and Brick - anyone here watch The Middle besides us), five barred rocks (Dandelion, Cricket, Michele, Mimi, and Angel), and five unidentified (four of which are the same - Nessie, Cleopatra, Lilly, and Miss Davis - and then Mrs. King Sam). Anyhoozlebees, I'm here and have enjoyed all the information here at BYC.
