New Chickens, Coop & Run NH

Hi Julie! Debbie in Texas here. I'm the one that has a shed like yours. I just love what you did with your coop/garden shed. I love all the cute little decorations you added too. I'm/DH still working on my coop. The heat here is a killer and I'm still trying to figure out how to keep my chickies cool. My DH thinks he has come up with a way to make a water cooler for them using a box fan, pump, and I think he said ice. I don't know. He e-mailed me the plans. I hope it works. I don't know when he will get started on it though. He works out of state and is only home on weekends. Your DH did a great job on your run. I like the metal roof. I wish I could have one on mine but would probably just hold in the heat. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you I love what you have done with your place and I just hope mine turns out as nice as yours has.

Shout out to NH-erites! I grew up in Bow, NH...been living in SF/Bay area for 20 years now. Don't miss the snow but NH sure is pretty... (went to Bow Memorial and Concord High - Bow hadn't built the HS at that time...)

Another NH dweller here! Southern part of the state.

Nice coop and run- those chickens must be very happy. Mine finally got done 4th of July weekend. I still have to add pics of the run to my BYC page, but the coop is there. This is such fun, isn't it? Never thought chickens would be such neat birds to own.
