another thing that works great is outdoor cats. i love our cats...aside from the litter box... and we get a ton of rain and they are long haired...so i have to put them in the shower more often than the dog. if i did it over, i would just have cats that lived outside.

they are rodent killers and deter weasel, fox, raccoon and opossum.
