new chicks eyes PLEASE HELP

I listened to DH and put my new hatch in w/a couple of chicks that were about 2-3 weeks old and over the night they pecked their eyes. I have been cleaning it w/water. One is doing ok, but one the eye looks a little bloody. When I opened her eye there is a cut in the corner, not the eye itself. So I think the blood went into her eye, but I am not sure. Any info would help THANK YOU

you might need saline eye wash and antibiotic eye ointment..
terramycin eye ointment is available at farm/feed stores.

tell DH newly hatched chicks shouldn't go in with older chicks..

not only for their safety, but other health reasons too..
(not to mention they can't compete with big guys for food and water)
